Lightweight, disposable pallets made from patented, compression-moulded dried wood chips. Because they offer a space saving benefit of up to 66% and are not covered by the regulations for solid wood these ingenious nesting pallets are widely used as a substitute for traditional wooden pallets in export packaging, air freight and efficient general storage.
ISPM15 or the International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No.15, has been developed to combat the movement of infestations via wooden pallets and packaging around the world. Because presswood pallets are moulded under enormous pressure and at such a high temperature, they need no extra treatment and are considered outside of these regulations. Regarded as "processed wood" they are the perfect single-trip pallets for problem-free export and shipping to any worldwide destination.
Available in smaller 1/4 pallet "display" sizes for point-of-sale or compact products, ISO sizes for improved container loading and the more common Euro and UK sizes for regular work.
Environmentally friendly - presswood pallets are a resource-friendly, wood-based recycling product, made from recycled waste wood from saw mills and industry.
Recyclable and renewable - old pallets which are no longer usable can be shredded and re-glued to make new. Recycling levels save over 350 hectares of woodland per year.
Biodegradable - all components, including the urea resin bonding agent are completely biodegradable and can even be used as fertilizer.
