A slightly coarser, cost effective option to acid free tissue
MG (Machine Glazed) tissue paper is a soft, economical, off-white tissue that has a machine glaze on one side, but is not acid free. Ideal for general wrapping, scrunching, void-filling and interleaving, it is extensively used by the garment, bakery, removal and retail trades.
Also known as cap, bread or packing tissue, MG tissue paper is a budget wrapping paper suitable for most general applications with the exception of packaging products liable to tarnish. It should not be confused with standard MG (Machine Glazed) acid free tissue or the more luxurious, premium MF (Machine Finished) acid free tissue. For archival storage and specialist wrapping, please refer to our lignin free, unbuffered white acid free paper.
