3M Scotch® Cross Weave Filament Reinforced Tape
Strong cross weave filament reinforced tape for demanding applications
This heavy duty Scotch 3M tape has a clear Scotchpro™ polypropylene film backing reinforced with two-directional (cross weave) glass filaments. Designed for demanding applications, it provides 150 lbs./in tensile strength and is ideal for heavy duty box closure, strapping, bundling and export packaging. Coated with a powerful solvent free, hot melt synthetic rubber resin adhesive, specially formulated to stick instantly to fibreboard and a variety of plastic and metal surfaces.
Once applied Scotch 3M glass filament tape performs well in normal temperature ranges typically encountered by packaged products in shipping and storage. With a total thickness of 145 microns, this glass reinforced tape is tough and tear resistant and can reduce costs as less tape is required in most packaging applications.
