Q. What is Fefco?
A.
FEFCO is the European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers. It is an association of associations that was established in 1952 and represents the interests of all European Corrugated Board Manufacturers. With headquarters in Brussels, the Federation is an International Association governed by Belgian Law.

A.
This section is currently being developed, but soon you’ll be able to view many distinctive Fefco styles
here…
Q. What is the International Fibreboard Case Code?
A.
A Code developed by FEFCO and ESBO (European Solid Board Organisation) as an official system to substitute long and complicated verbal descriptions of fibreboard case and packaging constructions with simple symbols internationally understood by all, regardless of language and other differences. The FEFCO-ESBO code is adopted by ICCA, the International Corrugated Case Association, with its worldwide membership.
Q. What is the difference between the terms boxes or cartons?
A.
Whether you use the word box or carton really doesn’t make any difference as they both describe the same thing. Box is probably used more than carton by Customers, whereas the packaging and related industries generally use carton. Whichever term you prefer to use, we will know what you are referring to.
Q. What is corrugated cardboard?
A.
Corrugated cardboard consists of two paper components: the medium and the linerboard. The medium is a fluted corrugated sheet which is sandwiched between two sheets of linerboard facing. Both are made from paperboard (generically referred to as "cardboard") which is a paper-like material often composed of two or more plies to provide the required stiffness.
Q. What is the difference between single wall and double wall corrugated cardboard?
A.
Single Wall Corrugated Cardboard consists of one fluted medium between two sheets of linerboard. Double Wall as its name implies, has two fluted mediums sandwiched between three sheets of linerboard.

Q. How long will it take you to deliver my bespoke boxes?
A.
Normal delivery is 5 working days, with many orders for bespoke boxes delivered in less than 5.

Q. Can you help me to reduce the cost of my boxes?
A.

Q. Do I give you internal or external box dimensions?
A.
Please quote internal dimensions only, in a sequence of length x width x depth.
Q. Will my boxes arrive ready assembled?
A.
No. All cardboard boxes are delivered flat-packed to reduce space and storage costs.
Q. What do you recommend to seal my box?
A.
Once packed, the box can be sealed using adhesive packaging tape, hot melt glue, or staples.
Q. Do you supply
cheap cardboard boxes?
A.
In short, we discount price not quality. We don’t cut corners! All our custom cardboard boxes are manufactured to ISO 9001 quality standards using high–corrugated board, so they are reassuringly sturdy. Many companies advertise "cheap cardboard boxes", but this doesn’t always mean you’re getting a bargain. Custom cardboard boxes come in many shapes, sizes and board grades so when you make your evaluation, be sure to compare the specification and the company’s pedigree.
