Continuous heavy duty polythene tubing on a roll, used extensively in packing departments, factories and warehouses to produce polythene bags to suit individual product requirements. Black poly tubing has the added security advantage of masking the contents of the package. Sizes up to 600 mm wide can be machine sealed with our extensive range of heat sealers.
Insert your object into the layflat tubing, cut to length and heat seal, tie, staple or tape both ends to make a made to measure bag around your object. It's that simple. Layflat tubing is manufactured from high quality polymers to give high strength and clarity.
When packaging a cylindrical object, to calculate the diameter of a particular layflat size, multiply the width by 0.6364 (e.g. 300mm layflat tubing is 191mm diameter). This 500 gauge heavy duty tubing is resistant to piercing and is suitable for fabric rolls and heavier rugs.
