Gusseted Polythene Bags 100 Micron/400 Gauge
Heavy duty gusseted poly bags with an expandable side gusset which increases the volume of the bag enabling it to accommodate larger and bulkier materials. Made from strong 100 micron / 400 gauge low density polythene, gusseted bags provide inexpensive moisture and dust protection and are used extensively for packaging powdered or granular products, lining shipping boxes, packaging agricultural products, computer software, industrial materials, food and mail order despatch items.
Immediately available from stock in sizes ranging from small bags to large gusseted pallet size bags. They can be heat sealed, twist tied or taped and are also available from stock in 3 other gauges:
Lightweight 12 micron / 48 gauge
Standard 30 micron / 120 gauge
Medium Duty 50 micron / 200 gauge
The size of a side gusseted poly bag is always expressed as "x" wide opening to "y" wide times the length. E.g. if a bag is stated as 100 x 150 x 200 mm this means it is 100mm wide when flat, opening to 150mm including the gusset, with a bag length of 200mm.
