Degradamailer - The biothene degradable mailing bag
Ideal for mail order companies that care about the environment. Degradamailers are manufactured using Biothene as a additive which causes the mailing bags to degrade when activated by light and heat. The degradamailer will not degrade before being exposed to UV light. Once the bag has been exposed to UV light, the degradation reaction will be triggered and continues even in the dark when buried in landfill. The degradation process is accelerated by heat. These mailing bags also feature a twin self-seal strip system so the bags can be reused. Use the outer edge strip for initial use. A perforated edge allows easy opening and allows the mailing bag to be reused with the second self-seal strip.
