Heavy duty suspended Salter mechanical weighing scale used extensively as a fruit and veg weigher. The 254mm diameter easy-to-read dial is housed in a robust grey die cast casing with low friction bearings providing postive movement to maximum sensitivity. Accurate to one part in 1000 trade, one part in 500 non-trade. Supplied with top and bottom hooks, stainless steel scoops and pans as optional accessories.

Did you know? The first spring scales in the UK were made in the late 1760s by Richard Salter in Bilston. By 1825 the company he founded had relocated to nearby West Bromwich. It was workers from this factory who in 1879 formed the town's football club which is still going strong today!
