101 Uses for Bubble Wrap: No 7 – Get married in it
When scaffolder Duncan Turner popped the question to his girlfriend, primary school deputy headteacher Rachael Robinson, he probably had no idea that he’d also be getting the chance to pop the answer! Because when the couple got married at Stamford Registry Office in May 2010, Rachael opted to walk down the aisle in a wedding dress made from 13 foot of bubble wrap. After the ceremony, Rachael confirmed that the dress had not only been very comfortable, but that the opportunity to pop bubbles during the ceremony had taken away some of her nerves! “I would recommend it to any bride-to-be!” she said.
Those who wish to take up Rachael’s suggestion can get their exclusive wedding dress material (ie rolls of bubblewrap) by calling Davpack on 01332 821 200. Design and fitting services are not, unfortunately, available at this time.
