That means you’re never far away from practical and low cost packaging that can be shipped to you very quickly.

Because of this, there are many people who think that all we do is act as packaging suppliers and wholesalers, when nothing could be further from the truth! The fact is we’re also cardboard box manufacturers. We don’t personally make every box we sell – it’s not that big a section! – but it does give us some useful added flexibility when it comes to managing our stock levels.

Just as importantly, having our very own box-making facility on site allows us to provide bespoke packaging with a fast turnaround and a guarantee of quality. And custom cardboard boxes is an increasingly important part of the service we offer our customers.

Our range of over 200 single wall and 160 double wall cardboard boxes has been carefully chosen to reflect the most commonly needed sizes. But, understandably, we can’t stock a box that’s ideal for every product and every customer. And this isn’t just a case of making boxes at a size other than those we hold in stock – although to be fair, that’s what it is most of the time! There are many other things people need their boxes to do. That could mean some foam to protect particularly valuable products; inserts such as dividers and cells to stop jars and bottles rattling against each other when being moved; maybe the box needs particular folds so it opens or closes in a certain way. It’s amazing how many different approaches people can come up with to the basic idea of a cardboard box!
