Want to WOW your customers?

WOW customers

The opportune time to wow your customers and showcase your company’s creative ability is during the festive season, with some retailers preparing as early as 7 months in advance for the busiest time of the year.

While not all businesses have long purchasing processes or lengthy logistics lead times, it is still wise to prepare well ahead of time. It also makes sense to get ahead of your competitors, by being able to fulfil and deliver more sales, whilst ultimately satisfying more customers for what will hopefully lead to repeat business.

Think festive

For small to medium sized businesses, introducing Christmas themed packaging can be quick and easy, subtly prompting them to begin thinking about the festive season. Whilst advanced planning would still be required, designing and inserting light literature such as a promotional flyer within your parcels is a great way to start. Alternatively, why not spread the Christmas message across your outer packaging with custom printed boxes or printed tape, to begin your customers unboxing experience in a festive way?

Wowing within your consignments

Packing a small ‘Thank You’ gift into your parcels is bound to get you positive customer feedback, reviews and social media sharing. The choices need not be costly with freebies such as sweet treats packed into organza bags. These would not only add a flash of colour, but would add a surprise element to add to the unboxing experience and put a smile on your customers face as they open their delivery.

For businesses wanting to add a lasting reminder, personalised ribbon with a seasonal greeting to thank customers for their continued custom both reminds them of your services whilst showing your appreciation.

Be social

During the festive season, social media channels can be easily utilised to communicate with customers and spread the joy! Highlighting your company’s continued values and unique selling points promotes your brand presence, helping you to stand out from the crowd. Don’t forget to keep active though, as customers may start to contact you through social media and will expect that quick response!

Promotional codes have a way of encouraging customers to place more orders through your business, rather than shopping elsewhere. Having a flow of various offers and incentives throughout the festive period can help to keep your customers engaged, encouraging them to keep up to date with your brand and the offers to come.

Post festive season

After all the decorations have been put away, these tools can be utilised moving forwards to keep your customers interested in your brand. Personalised tape for example can be used all year round, with your company logo and personalised message for that extra detail. Why not keep surprising your customers and update your message throughout the year and build upon that unboxing experience!

For those hand delivered or click and collect parcels why not utilise our bespoke box service, whereby we can design a box to the exact measurements you require. Whilst your at it, why not upload your artwork directly to our website and get them printed on either tape or ribbon. With our preview feature you can see what it looks likes before it is printed and better yet pay no set up or artwork fee.

Be quick though! We find as we get closer to the festive season lead times can be longer than 3 working days.
