0201 - Regular Slotted Container Box (RSC)

If you had to choose just one box style to do 90% of all jobs, this is it; the industry standard, versatile cardboard box! All flaps on the top and bottom are the same length. The two outer flaps (normally the lengthwise flaps) are half the box width and meet at the centre when folded. The inner flaps meet only on a square box. The board flute runs parallel to the depth to provide maximum stacking strength. The corner seam can be glued or stitched, depending on size.

Supplied flat they're easy to open and seal with packaging tape, carton box sealer, plastic strapping, hot melt glue or staples. If you want to bespoke a simple packaging and storage box, then a standard 0201 is probably the one.

0203 - Full Overlap Slotted Box (FOL)

Very similar to the 0201 RSC style except both sets of flaps are the same length and fully overlap to completely cover the base and top as opposed to meeting in the middle. The flaps are equal to the width of the box and close to within an inch of a complete overlap. The box can be sealed with adhesive packaging tape, carton box sealer, hot melt adhesive or staples.

The triple thickness of the overlapping panels provides additional stacking strength and protection. A very strong box ideally suited to transporting and packaging narrow or heavy items which require extra support on the bottom.

0200 – Half Slotted Container Box (HSC)

Similar to the 0201 RSC style but with only one set of flaps as opposed to two leaving it open on the top. Flaps meet at the base and need to be sealed with packing tape, adhesive or staples. This design provides quick and easy access to the box contents without the need to open and close flaps. For filing, archiving and shelf storage an 0422 lid can be used with the HSC.

Often supplied as a two part assembly with two HSC’s of equal depth sliding together as a full telescopic half slotted box (FHSC) for extra strength.

0411 Five Panel Folder Centre Flap (FPFCF)

A folder type box made from one piece of multi-scored board. Products to be packaged are stacked flat on the five panel wrap which folds over to form the box. The first and fifth flaps meet to provide a centre seam on the top of the box for sealing with adhesive packaging tape, hot melt adhesive or staples.

When assembled, the overlapping end panels provide additional protection. A strong box ideally suited to packaging and transporting flat, long, narrow or heavy items with extra support on the ends of the box, e.g. doors, panels, rolls, umbrellas, cones, rods, light fittings etc.

0409 Five Panel Folder (FPF)

A strong folder type box made from one piece of multi-scored board which simply folds over to form a rigid box. The 0409 style is almost identical to the 0411 except that the first and fifth flaps overlap to form a double thickness side. Thus, the 0409 is a slightly stronger than the 0411.

When assembled, the overlapping end panels provide additional protection. A very strong box ideally suited to packaging and transporting flat, long, narrow or heavy items which require extra support on the ends of the box, e.g. doors, panels, rolls, umbrellas, cones, rods, light fittings etc.

0301 - Full Telescope Design Style Box (FTD)

A popular two-piece box, comprising a separate lid and base made from two scored and slotted rectangular blanks. When assembled, the full-depth lid slides completely over the base giving double thickness end and side panels for superior strength and protection. As the height can be adjusted, one size can be used to pack a variety of products.

Both sections are delivered flat packed and can be quickly assembled and sealed with packaging tape or staples. With high compression strength and no flaps on the top or bottom, this box is ideal for storage and high stacking of books, gifts, clothing, documents, spares and shallow depth products.
