When you transport and store rolls of bubble wrap and bags of loose fill, most of what you’re working with is air. With air cushion packaging, you don’t need to put the air in until you need it, freeing up valuable space and cutting costs. These rolls of film take up a fraction of the storage space of their bulky counterparts but do their jobs just as effectively.
Each roll has a microchip built in so that the machine, available separately, recognises which profile has been loaded and adapts the air input to suit. Once filled, the resulting cushions are strong enough to withstand the biggest of bumps and knocks, but soft enough to ensure contents are kept snug and safe.
See below for the main functions of each profile – you’ll quickly find, however, that each one is flexible enough to a number of jobs!
- Five handy profiles available:
- Cushion – for void fill
- Double cushion – for void fill and block & brace
- Tube – for corner protection
- Large Quilt – for wrapping (equivalent to large bubble wrap)
- Small Quilt – for wrapping & interleaving (equivalent to small bubblewrap)
