Delivery Charges

NATIONAL DELIVERY (UK Mainland) - FREE delivery on orders over £100, orders under £99.99, please add a fixed charge of £6.99. Delivery charge and order amounts quoted here are excluding VAT. Delivery to non-UK mainland destinations is charged at cost (from £15.90), or goods may be collected from us. Please contact us on 01332 821 200 for further details.

 

Delivery Surcharges

Surcharged Post Code Areas

Deliveries to the following postcode areas incur higher carriage costs, so a minimum £6.99 delivery surcharge will apply to these destinations (on top of the standard charge - see above), depending on the size of your order:AB31-AB56, KW1-KW14, PA21-PA40, PH8-9, PH15-PH40, PH49-PH51, FK19-FK21, IV63.

Delivery to the following areas and postcodes are quoted on an individual basis:Western Isles, Orkney and Shetland: HS1-HS9, IV, KW15-KW17, KA27-KA28, PA20, PA41-PA89, PH41-PH44, ZE; Isle of Man; Isle of Wight, Jersey and Guernsey; Isles of Scilly (TR21-25); Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland.

Our policy is to review authorised orders submitted via our website, prior to payment being collected. If applicable, our Customer Service dept. will contact you and agree any additional charges before collecting payment, alternatively you may cancel your order. However, we will aim to satisfy your order wherever possible.


Exceptional Consignments

An additional delivery charge may apply to exceptionally bulky consignments to UK mainland destinations (local 20 mile radius not affected). If your order is affected you will be advised before payment is collected.


Excluded Areas

We do not currently operate a standard service to Northern Ireland and non-standard UK destinations, delivery will be quoted on an individual basis before collecting payment. For pallet orders to non-standard UK destinations please ring 01332 821200.


Delivery Timescales

National Delivery
All standard products are held in stock. Orders received by 2:30pm for national delivery (UK mainland) will be despatched same day (Monday to Friday) on our standard service and will generally be received within 1-2 working days.

Local Delivery
20 mile radius of Derby. Please see delivery schedule below:

 

Monday: Derby, Burton, Matlock.
Tuesday: Derby, Nottingham,.
Wednesday: Derby, Matlock, Chesterfield, Ashbourne.
Thursday: Derby, Burton, Leicester.
Friday: Derby, Nottingham.

Please note: Delivery is to ground floor only for parcels, pallets are curb side only. Full pallets will be delivered on heights up to 2m. It is essential you inform us of any delivery restrictions and booking in requirements before goods are dispatched. For full delivery terms please refer to our T&C's paragraph 7 - Availability & Delivery.

 

Offshore, Highlands and Islands
Certain product / postcode combinations incur an additional charge to certain areas. Please see “Delivery Surcharges” above for more details. 


Dispatch Notification

We will notify you by email or fax when your consignment is despatched. To assist us in concluding your order satisfactorily we ask you to ensure that someone is available to receive the consignment and advise us of any periods when the premises may be closed so that we can notify the carrier.

 


Inspection of Consignment

Please inspect the outer packaging and the contents of all parcels before signing the carrier's delivery note. If any part of your order is defective or missing, please reflect this on the carrier's note e.g. "damaged in transit" or "2 parcels only received" etc. and refuse delivery of the damaged parcel only. A signature of "received in good condition" may void any subsequent claim for damage in transit.

Please do not accept delivery without checking and sign the carrier's delivery note "not inspected" or "received unchecked" or "unexamined" etc. as this will not be accepted by the carrier in the event of a claim.

Payment Options

Purchasing direct from Davpack is simple - pay by credit card, PayPal, order from our website, send payment in advance or take up to 30 days to pay once your credit account has been established. We despatch same day and we would send the invoice to you. As we sell to industrial, commercial and trade Customers, all prices are exclusive of VAT.

We accept most major credit and debit cards with no surcharge.
We will charge your credit/debit card when we despatch your order and send notification of your order by email.
