Fancy helping us raise over £10,000 for The Children’s Society?

We’re really excited to be able to announce that we’ve teamed up with one of the country’s leading children’s charities in an exciting new project. Our aim is to raise awareness of the valuable work carried out by The Children’s Society with vulnerable and disadvantaged children, while at the same time raising valuable funds to help them do even more.

Together, we’ve devised a campaign to help children find the right help for the problems they may be facing at home or at school. Through the medium of a troubled cardboard box character called Barry the Box, we’ll be encouraging children to discuss the issues in a classroom setting before helping Barry to overcome his problems.

As part of the project, we’re also running a poster competition, based around Barry the Box, with lots of exciting prizes to be won.

We’ve set up a special page on our site about the Barry the Box project, which you can see by clicking here. There you’ll find more information about the poster competition, along with links to download resources connected to the project, such as information about the associated Children’s Society programme, MyLife4Schools.

This is just the start and over the summer we’ll be announcing even more plans, involving some very special cardboard boxes. Eventually, we’re expecting to be able to donate over £10,000 to The Children’s Society as a direct result of the Barry the Box project.

So if you want to keep up to date with our progress and join in with what promises to be an exciting year ahead, don’t forget to check in regularly with this blog, and follow our Facebook and Twitter pages.
